Group Description
The Annapolis Green Roots and Shoots group is a community-based group for high school students and their parents. This group will focus its efforts primarily on environmental justice. To that end, the members will coordinate activities and projects with a youth center within a disadvantaged community. Activities will range from creating a community garden, field trips to farms, hikes on local trails, etc.
The group will be facilitate as many projects as possible that that engage the youth center attendees in environmental education and hands-on learning experiences.
