Roots & Shoots change-makers and your projects blow us away every single day. This is your chance to stand in the spotlight and get recognized!

Roots & Shoots Certificates of Recognition celebrate the tremendous impact you create through your community-action projects. From supporting healthcare workers to protecting wildlife, to fighting injustice and building to community to organizing the collection of resources for those in need, your work and projects this and every year deserve something special.

What you’ll get: 

• Roots & Shoots members who have completed 2 projects in the last year can receive a certificate signed by Roots & Shoots Vice President, Kamilah Martin.
• Roots & Shoots members who have completed 3 projects or more in the last year are eligible to receive a certificate digitally signed by the one and only Dr. Jane Goodall!
• BONUS: If you apply, your projects and work have the chance to be featured across our channels (blog, social media, and email) for the whole world to see!

Eligibility:

U.S. based Roots & Shoots members who have completed and reported on Roots & Shoots projects in 2019 or 2020 are eligible for a certificate.

What will you receive with your certificate?

We know the challenge of celebrating your success while remaining at home and safe. This year, we will be providing all Certificates of Recognition virtually, along with ideas for celebrating with your group and how to share your success with your community.

Completing Your Project to be Recognized:

It’s easy to complete your Roots & Shoots project on our website. Adding details, tips, and pictures to your project profile will help guide future Roots & Shoots members AND helps us share your story! Follow the steps below for completing your project:

1. Log into your account at rootsandshoots.org
2. Navigate to your member profile page by clicking the welcome message at the top right. Then click on “projects”.
3. Click on your project title, if you’d like to make any updates to your original project, navigate to “edit project.”
4. Next, navigate to the “reporting” tab to complete your project.
5. Be sure to fill out all the details of how your project went in the reporting tab. After entering the required information be sure to click “Submit Report”.
