***CLIMATE CHANGE CHAMPIONS-6TH CHALLENGE***
This week’s challenge is to recycle/upcycle as much as you can!
Recycling paper helps with climate change because if you recycle it less trees are cut down which means less CO2 is released and CO2 contributes to climate change!
So recycle anything you can!
If you don’t already have a recycling bin or know where to recycle things than do some research and find out where to recycle near you! Also make a recycling bin for your family, it could be a super creative project or just a random basket you have laying around somewhere.
For upcycling (reusing old things you don’t need to make something new) you can just take trash or anything you can’t recycle to make something new! Like using some old carpet pieces to make a cat scratching post, an old tire to make a swing, or old food cans and jars to store small things in. You could even make a bin to put small upcyclables in until you have a project for them!
