Currently, we have gutted our overgrown, and outdated garden. It has be dormant for many years. Mariner’s Church volunteers have spent many hours removing foliage, overgrown trees, etc. Donated heavy equipment to remove roots, old dead trunks, etc. Landscapers have donated time to recommend and outline new garden areas for fruits, vegetables, herbs, etc. We currently have 3 zones in our garden plans: Zone 1 California Native garden – to attract pollinators, Zone 2 our fruit, vegetable garden, and Zone 3 sensory garden for our students who are on the Spectrum.
