I will be photographing our Painted Lady Butterflies from different grades. I matched the mini-grant money with my own donation, so that grades 3K-2nd, Self-contained Sp. Ed., ICT and Bilingual classes could all have new butterfly habitats and 5-7 Painted Lady caterpillars/butterflies to observe and from which to learn (Ecosystems, Life Cycles, Environmental Science).
I am planting butterfly plants (seeds) with smaller groups of children.
I ordered and received free seeds through Grow NY.
We are still proceeding with our studies. I will add more photos and release dates as they occur.
