If you visit India for a holiday, DO NOT RIDE THE ELEPHANTS. It may seem fun but to to train elephants they are stolen from their mothers and go through a painful training known as “the crush”. They torture them until they are do afraid, they’ll do anything to avoid getting hurt. Don’t ask the trainers about this cause they’ll just say “oh no not our elephants, they are very loved.” But it’s a lie. Another thing, some people make elephants beg for money on the road which injures their feet and much more. HERE’S THE GREAT THING THOUGH! There is a group called wildlife sos wich works to rescue them and make it illegal! Hooray! It was founded by a man (who’s name I forgot to spell.) who stoped the cruel practice of dancing bears in India! Yup, he’s great! You can follow them on Facebook and Instagram. They have an awesome website (www.wildlifesos.org) Where you can donate, get updates about elephants and other animals, plus buy cool merch and mabey get a badge! (I sure did. The merchandise money will go to helping elephants and other animals) do my worry about not being an Indian, they get donations from USA and other countries too! C’mon, let’s do this!!
Elephants being trained cruelly? That’s just horror. 😢
