We want to support the incredible work that you are doing in your community.
Young people, educators, individuals, and group leaders based in the U.S. are invited to apply for a $250 or $500 Roots & Shoots Project Grant to plan, start, support, or celebrate a community-action project that helps people, animals or the environment we all share!

If you are in one of the R&S Basecamp metro areas (Atlanta, Chicago, Los Angeles, Portland, OR and Tampa Bay), reach out to your Basecamp Coordinator for additional funding opportunities. The R&S Basecamp page has contact info for R&S Basecamp coordinators.
Who can apply?
Children, teens, educators, community groups/organizations, group leaders…any Roots & Shoots member who is interested in starting (or continuing) a community-action project to positively impact people, other animals, and the environment we all share.
To apply you must:
• Reside in the United States.
• Plan a project that takes place in the United States.
• Be a registered member of Roots & Shoots.

Successful past applications have shown how young people:
• Used the R&S 4-Step Formula;
• Took the initiative to map their community; and/or
