Sophie is a dynamic leader blending advocacy, creativity, and collaboration.
Sophie created The Clean & Green Initiative (TCAGI), an international nonprofit to tackle
environmental challenges.
Founded online during the pandemic, TCAGI has launched impactful campaigns, including a food
waste report and an eco-anxiety children’s book. Sophie also serves as the National Policy
Strategist for Fridays for Future US and represents the U.S. on the World Ocean Day Youth
Advisory Council.
Outside her advocacy and high school, Sophie enjoys writing, public speaking, and exploring
career paths in environmental policy and social entrepreneurship.
“From the earliest days of my advocacy, I looked up to Jane Goodall because we both share a
love of animals,” Sophie says.
