Iveena combines her passion for environmental education and technology to drive impactful change.
In high school, Iveena started environmental podcast with her Roots & Shoots club and expanded its reach to six continents, promoting accessibility and awareness.
She represented Roots & Shoots at a conference on climate equity, highlighting the importance of global collaboration. Iveena is also focused on starting a new chapter at her college, aiming to engage more students in community building and environmentalism.
Outside of Roots & Shoots, Iveena is a first-year college student studying Bioengineering and Finance. She enjoys running, exploring trails, and finding hope in small daily moments, like the rustle of wind or acts of kindness.
“Representing Roots & Shoots on climate equity was an incredible way to reconnect with the inspiring work happening across the country,” Iveena says.
