The Problem

We are wanting to build a garden at our school that will be dedicated to production of healthy nutritious food year round that will be given to those in need in our community. This will open to the outlying community and those at the school as well. We will be using this space as a school to learn about agriculture and cooking, but the goal for the use of the produce we have decided will be best to go to those who need it the most.

Our Plan

We want to add to our existing garden space, some garden beds to increase our production and allow us to properly rotate to enable a year round growing schedule. We will also be looking to add some fruit trees (figs and pears) and maybe add fruit bushes to also enable some longer term tasty fruits.
