The Problem
My wish for my students is to take a classroom STEM project and apply it to the real world problem we are facing with our school gardens. We want to collect and reuse rain water and deliver it to our gardens through a pipeline system.
Our Plan
Our goal is for our students to be involved in solving a real world problem at our school. We will be doing STEM lessons to guide students through the design engineering process to solve our watering problem. We want to be able to water our gardens using recycled water through a pipeline system from our rain barrel. We are trying to maximize the amount of water collected from a rainfall as well as deliver the water to the gardens automatically.
