The Problem
To provide Easter baskets to 48 children in local children's homes. It is our goal to provide at least one handmade item in each basket.
Our Plan
We will request handmade items from families in our community as well as donations to make 48 Easter bags. I will read the book, "Murphy's Three Homes" by Jan Gilman, to the kids to help them understand what the lives of children in and out of foster care may be like. The kids will then decorate 48 paper bags with personalized messages to put items in for Easter.
