TAKE THE COURSE (COMING SOON)           ABOUT ROOTS & SHOOTS          ABOUT COMPASSIONATE LEADERSHIP          RESOURCES FOR EDUCATORS

Join Dr. Jane Goodall to empower a new generation of compassionate young leaders who will make the right choices for our planet.

Get involved by participating in our free, online course for educators who share our vision of a better world for people, other animals, and the environment. Growing Compassionate Young Leaders is an innovative professional development course that teaches participants how to identify and implement a local service learning campaign using the Roots & Shoots program model. Through the program, discover the traits of a compassionate leader and how to foster them in youth.

Complete the course and mentor young people to lead change in their communities by mapping needs, collaborating with stakeholders, and designing practical solutions in the form of campaigns (and learn a lot along the way). Connect young people to Dr. Jane’s message of hope while facilitating a sense of empowerment that comes from helping others.
