The goal of Roots & Shoots in the classroom is to provide the educational community with a network of resources to engage youth with their local ecosystem through the development of meaningful service campaigns.
In an ideal world, we believe that the learning and teaching environment would expand beyond a brick and mortar structure. Every young person would be an invested member of the community and would be aware of the connectedness of people, animals, and the environment that make up their local ecosystem.
