Our wish for this project is to increase awareness about the lack of shoes for many people in our community and with that awareness, hopefully there is a desire to partner with us to donate shoes and create an on-going dialogue about health, poverty and wellness.
We are teaming up with Soles4Souls to host a shoe drive on our campus beginning Mar 1, 2018 and ending on the day of our campus Earth Day celebration in April 2018 . There will be boxes visible in high traffic areas for students, faculty and staff to donate gently used or new shoes for adults and children. Our goal is to have 2500 pairs of shoes by the end of our drive.
