What is your wish for this project?

Cellphones and other electronics contain the mineral, coltan, which is mined from the Congo, a home to many lowland gorillas. In the process of mining coltan, the gorillas' habitats are destroyed and the illegal bush-meat trade is promoted. By recycling coltan, it reduces the need for mining for more.

How did it go?

150 cellphones were collected for the gorilla eco cellphone drive! There are still collection bins (like the one in the photo) so people can continue to donate their electronic devices. All collected electronic devices will be donated to ECO-CELL.
