Enrich Your Current Programs and Activities with Our Unique Tools
The Roots & Shoots framework works within your group or organization's current structure to enhance your current goals, not compete with them. Roots & Shoots lets you take what you're already doing, or would like to do, and do it even better! Flexible, easy-to-use tools include:

  • Community Surveys, which help kids gain knowledge about their community and make sure their project fulfills a genuine need.
  • Brainstorming Techniques, which help facilitate youth-led projects that incorporate youth voice.
  • Our flexible model for engaging kids, which focuses on a progression that begins with knowledge, which leads to compassion and action. It is a tested method for empowering youth and for implementing change.
  • Discussion Boards that provide a global context for connecting your members with other Roots & Shoots members around the globe.
  • Our Project Database contains a treasure-trove of ideas and stories contributed by members who are currently conducting, or who have completed, community service projects.

We even provide recognition for the great work your kids do on our website, in our newsletters and with certificates signed by Dr. Jane.
