Launch a Letter Writing Campaign
You can personalize and adapt our form letters or write your own.

• The Donor Appeal Letter can be personalized by you and your group and sent out to potential donors. Be sure to sign the letter and write in your contact information at the bottom. You could also put a hand-written personal note on each letter that you send.

• Send the Reply Letter and a self-addressed stamped envelope along with the Donor Appeal Letter to each potential donor. On the Reply Letter, write in your name at the top and the donor can fill in their personal information.

• Thank all the people who contributed to your fundraising efforts by sending them the Donor Thank You Letter. Your group should personalize this letter before you print it with your group’s name (in the first blank in the first paragraph of the letter), the total amount of money raised by your group (the second blank), the amount raised by the entire Roots & Shoots network (the third blank), and your group’s contact information (in the space provided in the third paragraph).
