Our flexible program is easily adaptable to complement and enhance existing programs, offering our partners access to a comprehensive network of hundreds of thousands of caring, concerned and motivated individuals in almost 100 countries. We work collaboratively with a variety of dynamic organizations to develop innovative initiatives. For example:  Roots & Shoots is joing forces with Animal Planet and other leading animal organizations to inspire Animal Planet viewers to make the world a better place for animals. Together, we have the power to improve the lives of animals through volunteerism, donations, raising awareness of critical issues and responsible stewardship of the planet. - With the Girl Scouts of the National Capital, we developed a Roots & Shoots patch and badge program for girls of all ages
- We worked with the Environmental Leadership Center of Warren Wilson College to create hands-on service projects to go along with EcoTeam, their environmental education program for third grade classrooms
- We've organized Roots & Shoots days at Zoo New England that increased zoo attendance and inspired kids to get more involved in conservation efforts
- With the Global Explorers international youth study program, we've planned trips to Peru and Tanzania, where our R&S youth leaders learned about, connected with and helped local communities
